Verified facts

The table below uses current manufacturer pages, official shops and regulatory documents. A manufacturer claim describes what that company says. It is not independent proof of medical effectiveness.

Subject Asyra ResoField
Product type An electrodermal screening system sold to practitioners by Asyra in Petersfield, England. The client holds two brass hand electrodes while software tests the skin's response against a database that Asyra says holds tens of thousands of items. According to Asyra, the QEST4 has been the next version of this technology since 2015. Browser application for reference libraries, client profiles, custom lists, protocols and planning.
Price asyra.co.uk shows no price. Asyra says the purchase includes two days of foundation training, a laser, a travel case and a five year warranty, and that partner companies offer hire purchase or leasing over 36 or 60 months. The Dutch skeptics' foundation Skepsis lists an estimate of 13,000 euros, without a date. Practitioners set their own fees: one practice in Bedford, England, charges £80 for a first consultation of about an hour and a half and £65 for a follow up. Free at the time of this review.
Output and workflow The device measures how the skin responds through the hand electrodes while the software runs through test items, such as remedies, foods, toxins or organs, and ranks them in a report. Asyra says a full analysis takes under four minutes. It also offers a low power laser for passing on what it calls energetic signatures, and imprinting of bottles with remedies. No audio, electrical current, PEMF or other physical device signal.
Capacity and customisation Asyra lists 22 named test areas, including the energetic status of 40 organs, heavy metals, hormones and NAET. Some practitioners also offer remote tests on a hair sample instead of the hand electrodes. Custom lists and protocols are available. The new app allows up to 20 active plans per account and up to 6 scheduled rounds at the same time.
Banerji protocols No built in Banerji library was found in the public product information reviewed. Custom protocols are available. The built in Banerji reference library covers 433 conditions and 1,839 protocol lines.
Evidence and limits Asyra writes that the Asyra Pro is not a medical diagnostic device for labelling or treating disease, and that it does not seek licensing as a medical device in any country. In the United States the FDA cleared a device called ASYRA in 2003 (K023355, Galloway Technologies) only for measuring galvanic skin response. In 2011 the FDA sent Galloway a warning letter about missing quality controls in manufacturing. In 2017 the Dutch consumer programme Radar found that one healthy volunteer got contradictory results from two Asyra practitioners on the same day. A PubMed search on 11 October 2026 found no study on Asyra. ResoField is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat disease.

What this means in practice

An Asyra test depends on a measurement through the hand electrodes. ResoField has no measurement at all. You test a list yourself, for example with a biotensor or muscle test, collect what fits in the test tray and take it to Treat. Nothing is selected for you automatically.

Asyra calls the QEST4 its successor. We compared that system separately. QEST4 vs ResoField

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Asyra vs ResoField

How much does an Asyra machine cost?
Asyra does not publish a price. It says the purchase includes foundation training, a laser, a travel case and a five year warranty, and that leasing over 36 or 60 months is possible through partner companies. The Dutch skeptics' foundation Skepsis gives an estimate of 13,000 euros, without a date. Ask Asyra for a dated quote.
How much does an Asyra test cost?
Each practitioner sets the fee. On 11 October 2026 one practice in Bedford, England, listed £80 for a first consultation of about an hour and a half and £65 for a follow up test of about an hour, including a report and a remedy.
How does an Asyra scan work?
You hold two brass electrodes connected to the device and a computer. The software measures how your skin responds while it runs through test items such as remedies, foods and organs, and puts the results in a report. Asyra says a full analysis takes under four minutes.
Is Asyra the same as QEST4?
Not quite. Asyra says the QEST4 has been a further development of the same technology since 2015, and some practitioners use the two names for one device. We compared QEST4 with ResoField on a separate page.
Can Asyra diagnose disease?
No. Asyra itself writes that the Asyra Pro is not a medical diagnostic device for labelling or treating disease. In 2017 the Dutch consumer programme Radar took a kidney patient to an Asyra practitioner, and the specific kidney problems did not come up in the test.
Is there research on Asyra?
Not on the device itself: a PubMed search on 11 October 2026 found no study. The best known blinded test of a similar electrodermal method appeared in the BMJ in 2001. Three operators of the Vegatest could not tell people with a dust mite or cat allergy apart from people without one.
What is the difference between Asyra and ResoField?
Asyra is a measuring system: hand electrodes with software that ranks items based on skin response, sold to practitioners. ResoField measures nothing. It is browser software with reference libraries, client profiles, lists, protocols and planning, and it is free at the time of this comparison. You test lists yourself and pick what fits. Neither product diagnoses or treats disease.
