ResoField vs ZYTO
ZYTO measures skin conductance through a hand cradle and turns it into a report. ResoField measures nothing. It is browser software for libraries, clients, lists and protocols, and you do the testing yourself.

Verified facts
The table below uses current manufacturer pages, official shops and regulatory documents. A manufacturer claim describes what that company says. It is not independent proof of medical effectiveness.
| Subject | ZYTO | ResoField |
|---|---|---|
| Product type | Practitioner software sold with the ZYTO Hand Cradle, a device that measures galvanic skin response: small changes in how well the skin conducts electricity. The software plans are Balance, Select, Elite and EVOX. ZYTO says a Hand Cradle comes with every new software purchase. | Browser application for reference libraries, client profiles, custom lists, protocols and planning. |
| Price | The ZYTO products page lists Balance at 399 dollars, Select at 9,750, EVOX at 10,750 and Elite at 14,750, each paid up front, plus a subscription of 50 dollars a month on every plan. Extra Hand Cradles are sold separately, without a public price. Practitioners set their own price for a client scan; one US chiropractic practice lists 95 dollars for a Balance scan and 125 dollars for an Advanced scan. | Free at the time of this review. |
| Output and workflow | The client rests a hand on the cradle while the software presents a series of Virtual Items, digital references to things such as foods, supplements or environmental factors. The software records changes in skin conductance and ranks the items in a report. ZYTO puts a session at 3 to 10 minutes. | No audio, electrical current, PEMF or other physical device signal. |
| Capacity and customisation | ZYTO lists more than 190 Virtual Items for Balance, more than 3,000 for Select and more than 8,000 for Elite. Elite adds a custom template builder and lets you adjust the library. EVOX is built around perception sessions and includes ZYTO Remote Service. | Custom lists and protocols are available. The new app allows up to 20 active plans per account and up to 6 scheduled rounds at the same time. |
| Banerji protocols | No built in Banerji library was found in the public product information reviewed. | Custom protocols are available. The built in Banerji reference library covers 433 conditions and 1,839 protocol lines. |
| Evidence and limits | The FDA cleared the Hand Cradle in 2011 (K111308) for measuring galvanic skin response only. In a warning letter of 21 June 2023 the FDA wrote that ZYTO promoted the device and its software outside that use, including for identifying diseases, after an earlier warning letter in 2015. ZYTO states that its system is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. In a 2017 self test published in Missouri Medicine, Stephen Barrett found that repeated scans gave inconsistent results. | ResoField is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat disease. |

What this means in practice
A ZYTO scan depends on a measurement from the Hand Cradle. ResoField has no measurement at all. You test a list yourself, for example with a biotensor or muscle test, collect what fits in the test tray and take it to Treat. Nothing is selected for you automatically.
